As temperatures rise, the lush green tea fields of Yang'ai Tea Plantation in Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, are bursting with life.
Rolling hills of tea trees blend seamlessly with the beauty of late spring, creating postcard-perfect scenery that's drawing crowds for tea picking, nature walks, photography, and camping.
"I'd heard Gui'an had a great ecological environment, but the scenery is even better than expected – no filter needed," said Lei Xiaomei, a tourist from Chongqing.
At the plantation, staff members from Lixiang Eco-Agriculture Co offered samples of this season's fresh tea, which earned high praise from visitors.
"From its fresh aroma to its rich color and lingering sweetness, the tea is excellent," said Hu Yangyang, a visitor from Liuzhi special district in Guizhou. "I saw photos online and came specifically to check it out. The views, the tea – even the air smells like tea. Totally worth the trip."
