Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked among the national environmental air quality report's top 20 cities in January.
Guiyang has long prioritized ecological and environmental protection, advancing efforts to combat air pollution. Relevant departments have continuously strengthened the supervision of industrial pollution sources and strictly controlled emissions.
The city has intensified its urban greening efforts, expanding green spaces and enhancing the urban ecosystem's self-purification capacity. The public has also participated in environmental protection initiatives, with concepts such as green travel and energy conservation becoming ingrained in the community.
Guiyang will maintain this positive momentum, improving air quality and enabling its residents to enjoy greater ecological benefits.
