Kaiyang county makes progress in air quality control

The Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment recently announced the comprehensive air quality index of Guiyang's districts, counties and development zones from January to August this year.

From January to August, the proportion of days with good ambient air quality was 99.6 percent, an increase of 0.4 percent compared to last year.

According to national standards, good ambient air quality refers to an air pollution index of greater than 50 and less than or equal to 100.

In August, the proportion of days with good ambient air quality in Guiyang reached 100 percent, with Kaiyang county ranking first.

The air quality ranking for August in Guiyang, from highest to lowest, is as follows: Kaiyang county, Huaxi district/Wudang district (tie), Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guanshanhu district, Yunyan district, Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Qingzhen city, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Nanming district, Baiyun district, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xifeng county/Xiuwen county (tie).
