Guiyang aims to enhance its eco response system

Recently, the Emergency Response Center for Environmental Incidents in Guiyang City held a discussion at the Guiyang Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, aiming to continuously enhance the comprehensive capabilities of Guiyang city's ecology and environment response system.

The discussion focused on how to better utilize the technical resources of the institute to guide grassroots units in responding to sudden environmental incidents and establish a sound technical guidance mechanism for environmental emergency response.

The institute has compiled an "Emergency Manual for Environmental Incidents", established a business guidance working team, and clearly defined the responsibilities of each team member. The institute has established emergency disposal measures for specific hazardous substances in the environment, improved the list of environmental risk source enterprises, and improved its emergency monitoring methods for typical pollutants within its jurisdiction.

In conjunction with the manual, the center further elaborated on work suggestions, established specific work guidance mechanisms, and standardized environmental emergency response procedures.

Next, the center will work together with the institute to further establish and improve the mechanism for environmental emergency response, such as how to properly handle various types of sudden environmental incidents. 

These goals will be enforced to ensure ecological and environmental safety.
