Guiyang bureau builds local ecological culture brand

In 2023, the Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment showcased the city's ecological construction and achievements at exhibitions at various locations across the country.

In Shanghai this year, the bureau held an ecology exhibition. Through this exhibition, it showcased Guiyang's successful cases and cutting-edge technologies in low-carbon development.

The exhibition also provided a platform for the Guiyang bureau and professional experts in Shanghai's environmental protection field to discuss new concepts, models, and technologies for low-carbon environmental protection, which promoted Guiyang's sustainable development.

At the 2023 Macao International Environmental Cooperation and Development Forum and its exhibition, the Guiyang Pavilion showcased stories of Guiyang's ecological civilization construction.

In addition, during the 2023 Guiyang Ecological Environment Month activities, Guiyang collaborated with Chongqing and Chengdu to promote the concept of "zero-waste cities" and jointly conducted publicity campaigns to promote the idea.

Residents from the three regions posted their idle items on Weibo, exchanging them with other netizens. They also participated in offline "Zero-waste Guiyang Old Goods Markets", which was also an exchange activity for old items. These activities aimed to guide residents towards reusing daily items, practicing a green and low-carbon consumption pattern, and actively engaging in the construction of "zero-waste cities".

During the event, more than 1,100 posts were made on Weibo, which saw a total of 1.26 million views.
