Guiyang bureau holds meeting on ecology protection work

In 2023, Guiyang made significant progress in ecological and environmental protection efforts.

The city established a national demonstration zone for the construction of an ecological civilization. The Nanming River remediation was selected as an excellent project by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. The city also created 352 "zero-waste entities".

"Zero-waste Entities" are the key carriers of "zero-waste city" development and are also the basic component unit of the "zero-waste" concept in daily life. "Zero-waste Entities" include enterprises, communities and various types of public venues.

On Jan 9, the Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment held a meeting to deploy key tasks for the city's ecology protection work in 2024. In addition, the meeting summarized the bureau's work in 2023.
