Guiyang launches free bus voucher to encourage green transport

Zhutanhui, a carbon benefit platform in Guiyang, officially launched on Alipay on Nov 11, encouraging residents to experience low-carbon transport.

The Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment allocated 210,000 free public transportation vouchers to Guiyang residents on the platform.

Guiyang residents can directly search for the "Zhutanhui" application on Alipay. Users can earn carbon points by authorizing walking and public transportation records through walking and taking public transport.

Earning 10 points for walking over 6,000 steps daily and 10 points for each instance of taking public transportation in Guiyang, users can exchange 30 points for a free electronic bus voucher. There is no limit on the number of exchanges, and after a successful exchange, users can scan the code for free bus rides.

It's important to note that the points exchange activity is valid from Nov 11 to Dec 11, and the bus voucher expires 14 days after issuance.

This initiative aims to encourage Guiyang residents to opt for low-carbon, environmentally friendly modes of transportation.
