Guiyang among national eco demonstration areas

Ministry of Ecological Environment recently released the list of the seventh batch of ecological civilization construction demonstration areas and "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" innovative practice bases. Five regions in Guizhou were selected, including Guiyang and Qingzhen, which were designated as ecological civilization construction demonstration areas.

The efforts made by these regions include protecting the bottom lines of development and ecology, implementing a major ecological strategy, and pursuing green development. They have become representatives of ecological product value realization and the development of a beautiful China.

Since 2021, Guizhou has been continuously creating more national-level ecological civilization demonstration areas, forming a complementary relationship between provincial and national demonstration pilot projects.

Moving forward, Guizhou will continue to carry out ecological civilization construction activities, with a focus on the Chishui River and Wujiang River basins, and integrate ecological civilization construction into local development.
