The air quality assessment results for September in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – were released recently.
The rankings of districts, zones and counties in Guiyang were as follows, from best to worst: Guanshanhu district, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Wudang district, Huaxi district, Nanming district, Baiyun district, Kaiyang county, the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Yunyan district, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Qingzhen city, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xifeng county and Xiuwen county.
According to the evaluation results and the national standards for ambient air quality, all districts, zones and counties in Guiyang enjoyed good air quality every day in September.
Guiyang's daily average concentration of carbon monoxide and the maximum eight-hour average concentration of ozone were within permissible limits, with no exceptions.
