Guiyang museum honored as provincial eco base

The Guiyang Ecological Science Popularization Museum was recently awarded the title of "Guizhou Provincial Base for Social Science Popularization" by the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Sciences.

The museum is an urban exhibition hall with a focus on ecology. Its display formats include digital multimedia, electronic sand tables, interactive devices, and three-dimensional display boards.

Since its opening in 2016, the museum has organized over 50 activities such as "Ecological Civilization Lectures", receiving more than 1,000 participants on-site and over 1.4 million views via live broadcast.

At the same time, the museum also hosts exchange activities related to ecology.

During this year's Eco Forum Global Guiyang in July, the museum hosted Chinese and foreign guests such as the World-Wide Fund for Nature and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China.

Moving forward, the museum will continue to carry out social science popularization activities and promote the development of science popularization work.
