Guiyang promotes low-carbon lifestyle

The activity for publicizing a low-carbon lifestyle – sponsored by the Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment – was held in Guiyang on July 12.

The city has urged the public to pay closer attention to the impact of climate change, take positive actions to practice green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, and jointly promote green and low-carbon development.

At the event, low-carbon knowledge was promoted, the concept of a carbon footprint was explained, and brochures full of related information were distributed.

Residents also brought some of their old items and used them to engage in a fun handmaking activity highlighting the environmental benefits of recycling.
