Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently announced the results of its ambient air quality assessment of all of the districts and counties under its jurisdiction in April, with Guiyang Free Trade Zone ranking first.
The high to low ranking of ambient air quality in each district and county are as follows: Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Kaiyang county, Baiyun district, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Xiuwen county, Qingzhen, Huaxi district, Yunyan district, Nanming district, Wudang district, Guanshanhu district, Xifeng county, and Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
According to the evaluation results and the national standards for ambient air quality, the proportion of days that meet good air quality standards in Guiyang's districts and zones of Guiyang in April was 100 percent, with the exception of Xifeng and Xiuwen counties, which recorded a 96.7-percent rate.
Additionally, Guiyang had zero day with mild pollution or above, according to the State-controlled institution that monitors the city's air quality status.
