Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently announced the assessment results for ambient air quality in all of the districts and counties under its jurisdiction in March, with the Guiyang Free Trade Zone ranking first.
The high to low ranking of ambient air quality in each district and county are as follows: the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Qingzhen city and the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Baiyun district, Wudang district, Xiuwen county, Yunyan district, Kaiyang county, Guanshanhu district, Huaxi district, Nanming district, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Xifeng county.
According to the evaluation results and the national standards for ambient air quality, the proportion of days that meet good air quality standards in each district and county of Guiyang in March was 100 percent.
Additionally, according to the State-controlled institution that monitors Guiyang's air quality status, the number of days with mild pollution or above in Guiyang was zero, and the daily average concentration of carbon monoxide in the city did not exceed normal standards.
