On March 14, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, announced the assessment results for ambient air quality in all districts and counties under its jurisdiction in February, with the Guiyang Free Trade Zone ranking first.
The high to low ranking of ambient air quality in each district and county are as follows: the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Xiuwen county, Wudang district, Yunyan district, Baiyun district, Kaiyang county, Qingzhen city, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guanshanhu district, Huaxi district, Nanming district, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Xifeng county.
According to the evaluation results and the national standards for ambient air quality, the proportion of days that meet good air quality standards in each district and county of Guiyang in February was 96.4 percent, with an average fine particle rate of PM 2.5.
According to the air quality status of a State-controlled site, the number of days with mild pollution or above was one, and the daily average concentration of carbon monoxide did not exceed normal standards.
