Guiyang ranks 6th in country in air quality

The Ministry of Ecology and Environment reported last year's national ambient air quality on Jan 28.

According to the report, from January to December in 2022, Guiyang ranked sixth among the 168 key cities that were measured and ranked fourth in terms of its air quality improvement throughout the year.

In recent years, Guiyang has been striving to become an ecological city, built a pilot area for the construction of ecological civilization, and promoted the construction of a high-quality ecological civilization demonstration city.

In 2022, Guiyang's air quality was rated as "excellent" on most days.
