Guiyang city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, announced on Dec 13 that Baiyun district ranked first in November's ambient air quality assessment. The assessment was conducted in all of Guiyang's districts and counties.
According to the air quality status of the State-controlled site, the rate of days with good ambient air quality in Guiyang in November was 100 percent.
In addition, the primary pollutants in each district and county were mainly inhalable particulate matter or ozone, and the comprehensive index of ambient air quality was between 2.68 and 3.18.
In detail, the ranking from high to low of ambient air quality assessment in each district and county are: Baiyun district, Kaiyang county, Wudang district, Nanming district, Yunyan district, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Xiuwen county, Guanshanhu district, Qingzhen city, Huaxi district, Xifeng county, and the Guiyang Economic & Technological Development Zone.
