The 19th Ecological Civilization Theme Lecture in Guiyang was held on Oct 29, with Professor Fei Xuehai from Guizhou University serving as the keynote speaker. It was presented for the first time in the form of exclusively online live broadcasts, and received more than 60,000 viewers.
Fei is mainly engaged in research on the carbon water cycle of ecosystems and global change as well as ecological environment remote sensing big data. He is a key member of the field scientific observation and research station of the Guizhou Karst Environmental Ecosystems Observation and Research Station of the Ministry of Education.
During the activity, Fei elaborated on 10 global environmental issues. "Is Guiyang short of water?" "What is your opinion on dealing with water pollution, land pollution and noise pollution?" "Do new energy vehicles pollute the environment?" The residents watching the live broadcast asked questions and received detailed answers from Fei.
Next, this series of activities will actively explore more forms to let residents know the Guiyang Ecological Science Museum and jointly explore the ecological beauty of Guiyang.
