Over the past 10 years, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been prioritizing ecological and green development. Nowadays, it is known as an environmentally-friendly city and a desirable place to live in for many.

The city has made strong efforts to explore the development of an ecological civilization as well as high-quality economic development, forming a city system integrating natural ecology, economic ecology, social ecology and cultural ecology.

Forest parks, wetland parks, mountain parks and community parks have been vigorously constructed in the city, and a city park system serving the public with diverse functions and featuring a beautiful environment has been formed.
