Guiyang's ambient air quality assessment in August issued

Guiyang announced the results of the ambient air quality assessment of its all districts, cities and counties in August on Sept 23, and Kaiyang county ranked first.

The assessment results show that in August, the rankings of the ambient air quality assessments of all districts, cities and counties in the city are ranked from high to low as follows: Kaiyang county, Baiyun district, Xiuwen county, Xifeng county, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanming district, Huaxi district, Wudang district, Guanshanhu district, Qingzhen city, Yunyan district.

The air quality status of the State-controlled site shows that the proportion of days with good ambient air quality in Guiyang in August was 100 percent. Ozone is the main pollutant in all districts, cities, counties, and the composite index of ambient air quality was between 1.36 and 1.79.
