Provincial experts investigate Xifeng's carbon emissions

Experts of the Guizhou Department of Ecology and Environment and the Guizhou Environment Academy, accompanied by officials of guiyang bureau of ecology and environment, recently carried out research on enterprises in Xifeng county in Guiyang.

After listening to reports by Xifeng Western Industrial Co, Guizhou Kailin Group Xifeng Synthetic Ammonia Co, and Guiyang Kailin Group Fertilizer Co on energy saving and carbon reduction, the research team affirmed their achievements by investing in environmental protection, carrying out technological transformation, and reducing pollutants.

The team asked enterprises to be proactive in the process of adapting to the national "carbon neutral, carbon peak" strategy so that they can see benefits quicker.

Participating enterprises also said that they would start with technological transformation, project application and other aspects, increase capital input, make efforts toward Guiyang's "strengthening provincial capital" strategy and promote high-quality development, and pursue green, efficient and low-carbon development.
