Science publicity campaign for forests to be held Saturday

A large-scale popular science publicity campaign themed on the ecological civilization lecture hall and hosted by the Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment will be held for the 13th time at 10 am on March 26.

A total of 15 families of primary and secondary school students, as well as 10 experts, scholars and citizens, can participate in the event at the Guiyang Ecological Science Museum.

During the event, Song Xia, first-place winner of the first environmental science and engineering academic report of Guizhou University, will teach attendees about afforestation, planting trees and protecting the environment.

She will focus on essential facts about afforestation, tree species and their distribution in Guiyang.

In addition, she will lead citizens to Shilihetan Wetland Park to learn about forest vegetation.
