Air quality of Guiyang's districts, counties improves

To ensure air quality, the Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment purchased refined third-party management and control services for air pollution sources in August 2021.

The bureau invited experts – Li Qitai, a researcher of the Guizhou Environmental Science Society, and Li Jinjuan, a professor at Guizhou University – to conduct a review of the effectiveness of the projects on March 3.

At the review meeting, the project party reported on work such as inspection and control, navigation monitoring, and timely air quality research and evaluation that had been carried out since the implementation of the project, and answered questions raised by experts.

After listening to the report and asking questions, experts praised the phased work results of the project. At the same time, they made proposals to contain ozone pollution in spring and summer.

Third-party services have assisted air quality control work in various places. The air quality of Huaxi and Wudang districts and Xiuwen and Xifeng counties in Guiyang has improved by varying degrees.
