Guiyang helps enterprises develop to environmental standards

To promote the sustainable and green development of domestic waste incineration and treatment enterprises, the Guiyang law enforcement detachment of ecology and the environment went to Guiyang Zhongdian Environmental Protection Co on Feb 25 to carry out environmental safety management assistance and guidance work.

The law enforcement detachment reviewed the company's production ledger, pollutant discharge permits and other related materials while having a detailed understanding of the implementation of the system for the company's construction projects.

In addition, the operation of air pollution prevention and control facilities, temporary storage rooms for hazardous waste, and landfill leachate treatment facilities was inspected. The automatic monitoring of flue gas outlets was tested.

In response to the problems, the law enforcement detachment told the company to ensure the normal operation of pollution prevention and control facilities, the stable discharge of pollutants, and the strict prevention of environmental pollution incidents.

It also said that solidified fly ash stored in the factory area should be emptied in a timely manner and it is necessary to strengthen the standardized management of hazardous chemicals commonly used in the factory to ensure safe production.
