Guiyang Ecological Science Museum gets municipal recognition

The Guiyang Ecological Science Museum – which is located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – was officially recognized on Jan 21 as a "demonstration base for science popularization and promotion".

On the day, a delegation from the Guiyang Social Sciences Association visited the museum to learn about its construction and exhibitions.

Chen Kang, vice-president of the Guiyang Social Sciences Association, urged the museum to continue its excellent work and carry out more ecological and science popularization activities in various forms and with rich content.

Since its establishment, the museum has been open free to the public and it has publicized the science of ecology. In 2021, the museum held a series of activities – to introduce Guiyang's ecological environment and the city's achievements in ecological civilization construction – that were seen by more than 1.1 million people online and on-site.
