Guiyang Ecological Environment Scientific Research Institute focuses on innovation

Innovation is a powerful tool in response to challenges posed by ecological environment. It is also an important approach to achieve the sustainable development. Guiyang Ecological Environment Scientific Research Institute has been paying attention to the cultivation of high-quality and inter-disciplinary talents, which has laid a solid technological foundation to Guiyang's ecological endeavors. 

The Key Laboratory of Ecological Environment was officially founded in 2016. The establishment of the lab is for the further improvement of Guiyang's ecological monitoring system. 

In December of last year, the institute was recognized as being able to deliver testing reports on 26 specific indexes, signifying that the institute can offer testing services in drinking water security, water quality and soil examination, and that the statistics and results of the report are legally valid and recognized nationwide. 

The institute also took the initiative to work with Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Science and Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning, and established Guiyang work office of the Joint Research Center for the Yangtze River Ecological and Environmental Protection and Restoration.
