Guiyang focuses on rural sewage treatment plan for 2021

On Feb 4, Guiyang's municipal bureau of ecology and environment laid out the domestic sewage treatment plan for rural areas in 2021.

During the meeting, officials reviewed soil pollution treatment in 662 villages and sewage treatment in 168 villages. All of the treatment projects followed the pollution-treatment plan and stayed within the budget.

For its next move, the bureau will seek more funding for infrastructure construction and maintenance and improve the management of excrement and waste at poultry breeding facilities.
