Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, released its air quality assessment results for the month of November on Dec 14.
According to the results, the air quality ranking of Guiyang's districts and counties from best to worst is as follows: Yunyan district, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Nanming district, Kaiyang county, Guanshanhu district, Wudang district, Xifeng county, Qingzhen city, Huaxi district, Xiuwen county, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Baiyun district.
The districts and counties had good air quality days occupying 93.1 to 100 percent of the month.
During November, PM 10 was the primary pollutant in Nanming district, Guanshanhu district, Huaxi district, Baiyun district, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang Free Trade Zone and Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The primary pollutant in Yunyan district, Wudang district, Qingzhen city, Xiuwen county, Kaiyang county and Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone was PM 2.5.
PM 10 and PM 2.5 were both primary pollutants in Xifeng county in November.
