An inspection team from Guiyang's bureau of ecology and environment visited Guiyang's Huaxi district on Nov 12 to learn about the construction progress of an electroplating industrial park and a resource recycling industrial park.
Staff members of the electroplating industrial park introduced the park's current situation, infrastructure planning and construction preparation, especially for the sewage disposal project.
The inspection team stressed that the industrial park's plan should fit the local industrial layout. The drainage system and the water supply system should also be improved so that the industrial park can be finished and put into operation as soon as possible.
The resource recycling industrial park started construction in May. It will be able to dispose of 2 million electronic products, 100,000 discarded vehicles, 13,000 metric tons of medical waste, 30,000 tons of organic solid waste and 30,000 tons of waste plastics per year when put into operation.
The inspection team has required that the industrial park be constructed efficiently and not affect the surrounding neighborhoods' living and production conditions.
