To improve air quality, the bureau of ecology and environment of Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), in Guiyang city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, launched its first air pollution navigation monitoring vehicle on Nov 4.
The vehicle can identify pollution sources and the spread of pollution by driving along the central and subsidiary roads within GETDZ. The vehicle can then provide data to ensure that air protection policies are effective.
In the future, the bureau will continue to monitor some crucial areas during critical periods to continue to improve the air quality within the development zone.
