To protect Quanhu Lake's ecological environment, the comprehensive administrative law enforcement bureau of Baiyun district in Guiyang has introduced stronger measures to improve the water environment.
Quanhu Lake, a national 4A-level scenic spot, attracts a growing number of tourists and serves as an important window to display the high-level opening-up and high-quality development of Baiyun district.
According to Baiyun authorities, great efforts have been made to improve Quanhu Lake's water quality, which has met the national quality standard of Grade III for surface water.
Baiyun's administrative law enforcement bureau will check surrounding restaurants regularly and punish any illegal dumping of untreated sewage.
In addition, new available water sources are being surveyed to guarantee the water yield of Quanhu Lake throughout the year. Also, related staff members and ships have been arranged to get rid of weeds, floaters and golden apple snails to achieve a beautiful landscape on the water surface.
