Responsibilities

To supervise the implementation of environmental protection laws and regulations, plans, policies and standards; To be responsible for the administration of environmental supervision and collection of sewage charges; To be responsible for administrative penalties for environmental protection; To be responsible for the daily supervision of the emission reduction of major pollutants in the city, and to organize and carry out the assessment of the supervision of pollution emission reduction; To participate in the investigation and treatment of environmental pollution incidents; To participate in the investigation and handling of environmental pollution accidents and disputes.

To carry out the laws, regulations and rules of the state, provincial and municipal governments concerning energy conservation, comprehensive utilization of resources, clean production and development of circular economy; to formulate and organize the implementation of energy conservation supervision standards and plans for industry and informatization; to guide the supervision and law enforcement of energy conservation in industry and informatization.
