Responsibilities:

Be responsible for ecological environment supervision and law enforcement inspection; supervising the implementation of the responsibility of the local party committee government and the relevant functional departments for the protection of the ecological environment; responsible for improving ecological environment quality and supervising and handling ecological environment problems; formulating supervision system, work plan and implementation plan of ecological environment protection; responsible for the organization and coordination of the supervisions on ecological environment protection by central government and provincial Party committee; supervising the implementation of ecological environment policies, planning, regulations and standards; undertaking the emergency disposal. investigation and handling of serious ecological environmental events, ecological damage events and environmental disputes, and coordinate the settlement of cross-regional environmental pollution disputes; guiding the related work of comprehensive law enforcement of ecological environment in the whole city;  undertaking the daily work of the office of the ecological civilization construction committee of the municipal party committee, the office of the ecological environment protection committee of the municipal people's government, and the office of the leading group of municipal environmental protection inspectors.
